Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the leaders of Ukraine and Russia expressed their preliminary readiness to hold a personal meeting, the Sabah newspaper reports.
According to him, the Summit of Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin can pass in Turkish Istanbul.
Erdogan noted that he received a positive response from Moscow and Kyiv regarding the meeting of the leaders.
“Summit leaders can take place in Istanbul. As Turkey, we will be very happy,” said Turkish leader.
