Thanks to high -tech weapons of Turkish development, changing the “rules of the game” in the field, modern Turkey strengthens its positions in the international arena. This is stated in the message of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, read on Saturday at the opening of the 5th meeting of the General Assembly of the largest industrial and aerospace cluster in Europe – Saha İstanbul.
The Head of State noted that the development of defense companies in Turkey made it possible to strengthen the power of the Armed Forces of Turkey and the armies of friendly and allied countries.
According to the president, a great contribution to the technological development of the country is made by both large military-industrial companies and universities of the country, as well as small and medium-sized businesses (kobi̇), which remains the main driving force of the economy.
Erdogan recalled that Saha İstanbul, which gathered together large companies, universities, research centers and kobi̇, is an important platform for the technological development of Turkey.
The President recalled that Saha İstanbul today includes 938 structures and 26 universities of the country.
