The authorities and the people of Turkey step by step implement large infrastructure projects that form a strong basis for the new achievements of the second century of existence of the Republic.
This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, turning on Friday by video communication to the participants of the opening ceremony of the fourth on the length of the country’s bridge in the southern province of Adan.
“We are not without reason the bridges, build hospitals, open enterprises, produce cars, planes, ships and tanks. All these are parts of the foundation of the impending greatness of the Turkish people,” the Turkish president emphasized.
The head of state drew further attention to the successes of Turkey in the energy field.
“Modern Turkey is a country that consumes gas from domestic deposits. I am sure that the day is not far when we will witness oil production covering the needs of our country,” the politician noted.
Erdogan further spoke about the significance of the new bridge across the Seihan River.
According to him, the length of the “Fali on July 15” bridge is 1669 meters, which will greatly simplify the message between the Seikhan and the Uregir in Adan. “In the middle of the bridge structure 40 meters wide, a railway line was built. A new bridge with six lanes of automobile traffic (two in each direction) is designed to become an important transport artery of the northern part of Adan’s province,” the head of state stated.
According to him, thanks to the new bridge, Turkey will save on fuel and time 286 million lire annually, and the volume of carbon dioxide emissions will decrease by more than 4 thousand tons.
