Erdogan told President of European Council that Turkey could not accept Afghan refugees

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a telephone conversation with the President of the European Council Charl Mishele said that Turkey, as the 5 million refugees hosting on its territory, cannot take on an additional migration burden (this is about contacting Michel to Turkey to take part of the Afghan refugees – haqqin.az). The head of the Turkish state indicated that recent events in Afghanistan showed the importance of Turkey’s participation in the project of the European Union PESCO in defense and security,

President Erdogan stressed that in the current situation the priority for Turkey is the evacuation of its citizens from Afghanistan, as well as the achievement of sustainable peace and stability in this country.
