Erdogan: Turkey is ready to provide site for dialogue in Sudan 9 May

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with the chairman of the sovereign council of Sudan (governing body of the African country) Abdel Fattah al-Burkhan.

The Directorate of the Delivery of the Administration of the President of Turkey was reported that the Turkish leader expressed concern in connection with the ongoing bloodshed and an increase in the number of victims in this African country.

Erdogan expressed the readiness of the Turkish side to provide a platform for dialogue in Sudan if the conflicting parties made a decision on large -scale negotiations.

The head of Turkey assured that Ankara in coordination with the UN will continue active efforts to supply emergency humanitarian assistance to the people of Sudan.

During the conversation, the topics of the evacuation of Turkish citizens from Sudan and their security were also affected.
