Türkiye stands for the speedy fair and long -term world in Ukraine. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a briefing before flying to the NATO summit in Vilnius.
The head of the Turkish state noted that Ankara supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, and also believes in the further simplification of the process of Kyiv’s entry into NATO.
President Erdogan further stated that at the Summit [NATO] will again voce a call to the countries of the Sanitary Country on “abandonment of the erroneous position of entering sanctions and restrictions on Turkey.”
President Erdogan further noted that Ankara during all periods supported the Open Doors course.
At the same time, to promote the process of Stockholm’s application for joining NATO, it is necessary to fulfill all the provisions of the Tripartite Memorandum [Turkey-Shvesty-Finland], the Turkish leader stated.
