Erdogan will come to SCO summit with a proposal

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan can come to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan, which will take place in the fall. It is assumed that he will offer to create an “energy corridor” for gas transit through Turkey, the newspaper Türkiye writes.

The Turkish leader for the summit was invited by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Earlier, Turkey expressed a desire to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Experts are confident that Ankara can play an active role in solving the energy crisis that Europe is experiencing due to refusing Russian gas. The problem can solve the “energy corridor”, according to which LNG can be transported through Turkey.
