Erdogan will discuss with Putin and transfer of hub to Turkey

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan during telephone negotiations with Russian colleague Vladimir Putin intends to discuss the gas hub project proposed by Moscow. This was announced by the Russian media by a diplomatic source in Ankara.

“This is one of the main topics of the bilateral agenda, which is under the direct control of two leaders. The Russian side previously announced the beginning of practical steps, the process takes place during coordination. In this regard, leaders also discuss details, proposals,” the agency’s source said.

The Presidents of the Russian Federation and Turkey previously instructed to work out in detail the issue of creating a gas hub in Turkey. Through this hub, in particular, you can move gas supplies from damaged “northern streams”. At the same time, this is not only about the creation of a trading platform in Turkey, but also about the development of infrastructure and increasing supplies in the southern direction, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak reported. Other countries can participate here, according to him: Algeria, Qatar and Azerbaijan, also supply gas to Europe in the south.
