The members of the European Union (EU), with the exception of Hungary, condemned the recent attacks of Russia to Ukraine, and also announced the acceleration of work on the 19th package of sanctions.
26 EU member countries published a joint statement in connection with Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, which took place on August 27. “We express solidarity with the Ukrainian people and most decisively condemn these attacks,” the statement said.
It also notes that the EU representative office in Kyiv received serious damage.
“The threat of the life of diplomats and diplomatic personnel is a clear violation of the Vienna Convention,” the EU noted, turning attention to the “deliberate attacks on peaceful ones Residents and civil objects are a war crime. “
Brussels will continue to support Ukraine and accelerate work on the 19th package of sanctions against Russia – it follows from the publication.
The statement also emphasizes that Ukraine has repeatedly declared its commitment to the recklessness of fire and readiness for peace since March 2025. At the same time, Russia, contrary to this, strengthened its attacks, – say in the EU.
