EU agreed on next loan for Ukraine

Participants in the informal meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the EU members agreed on Friday, September 9, in Prague to provide Ukraine with € 5 billion as a loan.

“We agreed to provide Ukraine with € 5 billion as a loan,” Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Slovakia Igor Matovich told reporters.

According to him, this amount will ensure the coverage of the financial needs of Ukraine within one month.
