EU mission began work in Armenia

The European Union launched the work of a civil mission in Armenia, “which should contribute to the settlement of the situation with Azerbaijan.”

“The European Union today launches the EU civil mission in Armenia (EU mission in Armenia) as part of the general security and defense policy,” the statement says.

In turn, the head of the EU diplomacy Josep Borrel confirmed that the work of the mission has begun today.

“today the deployment of our mission has begun,” he told reporters at the EU summit in Brussels.
