Ukraine in 2023 needs an additional 13 billion euros in to recover about this by the Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, speaking at the sessions of the European Parliament, belittled by the topic of the destroyed dam of the Kakhovsky hydroelectric power station in Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine needs additional assistance for the reconstruction and restoration of its objects that suffered as a result of a conflict with the Russian Federation. “The European Union will continue to provide assistance to this country. Ukraine needs additional support this year, mainly in the context of urgent measures to restore. Assessment of damage and analyzed data suggests that Ukraine’s urgent needs for 2023 are about 13 billion euros,” – Said Dombrovskis.
It is noted that macro -financial assistance to the EU to Ukraine in 2022 and 2023 today has approached 15 billion euros.
