The youth (U-21) Azerbaijani team held its last match in the qualifying tournament of the European Championship-2023.
In the Norwegian city of Dramen, our team played with the youth team of this country and lost with a score of 1: 2. The only goal in the Azerbaijani team in the 65th minute was scored by Ildar Alekperov, who equalized. The owners scored the victorious goal in the 77th minute.
Thus, with 7 points, our youth took 5th place among six teams, overtaking only Estonia.
, thanks to today’s victory, the Norwegians took 1st place in the group and made their way to the final stage of the euro. The national team of Azerbaijan was also ahead of Croatia, Finland and Austria.
