Today, matches of the 1st qualifying stage of the Male Championship of Europe-2026 in handball have started in Baku.
In the Baku Sports Palace for the only ticket to the next stage, the national teams of Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Malta and Cyprus are fighting.
In the first match of the Cyprus and UK tournament, they tied 25:25. At 17:00 the meeting of Azerbaijan – Malta will begin.
The 2nd round will be played tomorrow. At 14:45, the Cyprus – Malta match starts, and at 17:00 – Azerbaijan – Great Britain.
Matches of the 3rd round will take place on January 15. At 12:45, Great Britain and Malt will enter the site, at 15:00 – Azerbaijan and Cyprus.
