The European Union should act more independently of the United States in a war of Military Plan, said the Minister of Defense of Germany Annegeret Kramp Carrenbauer.
Kramp Carrenbauer announced this in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, noting that “this does not mean that we must separate from the Americans,” reports TASS.
“But such situations may arise, in which we will have other interests, including inside NATO. Then we must be more capable with your own forces,” she said.
The minister recalled that after the capture of the Taliban, the power in Afghanistan, European colleagues discussed at an emergency meeting of the way out of the situation, and then discussed among other rapid response force. According to her, she will offer their vision to form such forces until the end of October.
