German Foreign Minister Haiko Maas suggested that the new punishment for Belarus for the situation around forced landing of the aircraft of the European Losomer Ryanair will be a ban on the issue of government bonds in the euro, RIA Novosti writes.
Among the obviousness, he called a ban on the transit of Russian gas in the Central and Long-term perspective, as well as a blow to companies related to the production of potassium and phosphates. They are chosen due to the fact that they seriously affect the economic situation in the republic.
The diplomat stressed that the decision of the European Council will try to implement as quickly as possible. The issue of governmentobaligations will be made primarily among other financial measures.
