The President of the European Parliament Robert Metsol spoke in favor of a speedy decrease in the dependence of Europe from Russian oil and gas. He stated this in an interview with LRT TV channel.

Metsola recalled that the European Parliament immediately called on to turn off Russia from the Swift payment system and will insist that other Russian banks fall under the sanctions.
