European Parliament proposed to turn off Russia from SWIFT and stop “North Stream-2”

The European Parliament has developed a draft resolution, which provides for measures to influence Russia in the event that “if it does not stop the escalation of the conflict in the south-east of Ukraine.” Tomorrow is scheduled for accepting the document, on April 29, following the results of the plenary session, the Kommersant reports.

According to information, the resolution of the European Parliament is not obligatory for execution, but is a recommendation for the EU countries.

Responsive Measures:

Disable Russia from bank payments SWIFT;

Stop the implementation of the project “Northern Stream-2”;

Run the regime of sanctions for corruption crimes and include “Russian oligarchs” in them.

Today, April 28, the head of the Foreign Policy of the EU Jozep Borrel acted in the European Parliament. One of the topics of his performance was the relations of the EU with Russia. The diplomat said that Russia herself seeks to strengthen confrontation with the European Union and urged Brussels to prepare for “difficult moments” in bilateral relations.
