The highest representative of the EU for external affairs and security policy, Josep Borrel condemned Russia of military activity in the territory around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, reports European Pravda.

“EU condemns Russia’s military activity around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. This is a serious and irresponsible violation of safety rules at nuclear facilities and another example of Russia ignoring international norms,” he stressed.

Recall, on August 5, Energoatom reported that Russian troops fired at the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant twice a day.
