The European Union discusses the possibility of applying restrictive measures to 351 Russians in response to the recognition of Russia’s independence of the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”, writes Bloomberg agency with reference to EU officials.
According to the sources of the agency, among those who are probably the introduction of EU sanctions, there are also deputies of the State Duma.
As noted by European officials, it is necessary that the prepared package of sanctions approved the European Union states.
It is expected that today the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the EU during the urgent meeting of the Informal Council will decide on the “European response” on the recognition of the independence of Moscow “DPR and LNR”.
