European Union wants to expand cooperation with Iran

Supreme Representative of the European Union on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel in a telephone conversation with Hosein Amir Abdollahian congratulated him with the appointment of Iran’s Foreign Minister and announced the readiness of the European Union to expand cooperation with the country, reports INN.

Josep Borrel noted that the presence of the EU delegation at the inauguration of Iranian President Raissel indicates the determination of Brussels to actively cooperate with Tehran.

Supreme Representative expressed hope for the speedy resumption of negotiations in Vienna.
