European Union will not approve Russian vaccine this year

The regulatory body of the European Union in the field of medicines is unlikely to approve the Russian vaccine against Coronavirus – “Sputnik V” – until the end of 2021, reports Reuters with reference to its sources.

It is reported that the impossibility of approval is associated with the lack of some documents for the registration of the vaccine. The source also noted that registration is possible in the first quarter of 2022.

Earlier in the official Twitter account “Satellite V”, information appeared that the Russian vaccine in the coming months could be approved by WHO.
