Eva Kylie rejected charges of corruption

Deputy Head of the European Parliament Eva Kylie, who was detained on December 9 on suspicion of corruption, denies his guilt, her lawyer Mikhalis Dimitrakopoulos said.

“Her position is that she is innocent, this is what I can tell you. She has nothing to do with funding from Qatar, nothing is directly and unambiguous. This is her position,” the lawyer said. Mrs. Kylie never engaged in “commercial activities,” the lawyer added.

Note that the police of Belgium arrested the vice president of the European Parliament Eve Kylie and four more people in connection with the investigation in the Corruption case against Qatar. According to European media, in November this year, shortly before the start of the World Cup, 44-year-old Eva Kylie met with the Minister of Labor of Qatar Ali Bin ali Al Marry. It is emphasized that this meeting was corruption. The media also note that the names of the deputies of the European Parliament are not the first time in cases of corruption and illegal lobbying for political and financial interests of different countries. According to sources in Brussels, Eva Kylie some time ago was convicted of servicing the interests of the Armenian lobby in the European Parliament. On November 19 last year, a group of deputies of the European Parliament signed a statement in which Azerbaijan was accused of “committing aggression against Armenia.” The authors of the application called on international organizations to use all levers “to prevent Azerbaijan’s aggression against Armenia.” All 33 euro deputies, including Eve Kylie, who signed this statement, were members of the Friendship Group with Armenia in the European Parliament, closely related to the “All -European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy” (AAFZ) – the largest Armenian organization in Europe, financed by its president, Armenian, Armenian billionaire Kaspar Karapetyan.
