A criminal case against the former representative of the Head of the Geychaysk District Executive branch on the administrative-territorial district of Goychay Rashad Shukyurov, accused of abuse of power and a bribe, transferred to the Shekinsky court for serious crimes.

according to the prosecution, Shukurov abused his powers, occupying the position of head of the department for work with the territorial administration and local authorities of the executive branch. He received various amounts of bribes from employees, threatening them with dismissal in case of refusal.
It was established that the damage caused by the crime amounted to 800 thousand manat.
Rashad Shukyurov did not plead guilty of charges against him.
Shukurov was charged under Articles 308.2 (abuse of power that entailed grave consequences), 311.3.1 (committing bribery by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) and 311.3.4 (bribery committed by intimidation) and detained. Later the accused was released under house arrest.
