The former head of the executive branch of the Gubadlinsky district Elkhan Nuriev was arrested in Poland.
qafqazinfo reported in law enforcement that the 60-year-old E. Nuriev was put on Azerbaijan on the international wanted list. The ex-head of the Yves, currently a citizen of Ukraine, is charged under Articles 120 (intentional murder) and 309 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The court made a decision on the arrest in respect of him.
E. Nuriev held the post of head of the Yves of the Gubadlinsky district in 1992-1993. He is currently the chairman of the Central Control and Revision Commission of the Union of Officers of Ukraine.
