According to the court order, the ex-head of IV Ismail Veliyev was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Recall that at the last meeting of the court, the state prosecutor requested to sentence I.Veliyev by 11 years, V. Alekperova – 10 years, Sadigov, V.Nagieva, A.Kerimov – 8,5 years old, A. Djafarov – 9 years and T.Zahidova by 9 years of conclusion.
Ismail Veliyev and other officials were arrested in February last year by the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
According to the information of the SGB, on the basis of information on the assisted of numerous criminal actions that cause large damage to the rights of citizens, the interests of society and the state, comprehensive investigations began with the officials of the executive authorities of the Neftchalinsky district.
According to the assembled materials, reasonable suspicions were revealed in the fact that the head of the executive authority of the district of Ismail Veliyev, who regularly abused by official powers, was required under various pretexts of funds from heads of health care institutions, education and other institutions.
At the same time, reasonable suspicions were identified that Ismail Veliyev personally, as well as through the first deputy head of the executive authority of Vurgun Akperov, head of the department of architecture and construction of Vugar Nagiyev, other officials who were in his subordination, under various pretexts. Required funds from individuals engaged in private business activities in the area.
