The investigation of the former mayor of Yerevan Taron Markaryan and the ex-head of state property management Arman Sahakian was completed, the case with the indictment was sent to the prosecutor’s office, reports “Armenia’s satellite” with reference to the Armenian Investigation Committee.
According to the investigation, Markaryan in 2011-2014. In order to acquire and its close land plots, which belonged to schools of the capital, initiated the revision process of the plan of these territories.

By the same criminal case, such accusations were presented and the head of the State Property Department under the Government of Arman Sahakyan (a former deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia and the Son of the Ex-Speaker of the Galust Sahakan Parliament), employees of the City Hall Andranian Casaryan and Arsen Amyan.
Note that Markaryan left the mayor’s post in July 2018 after the change of power in Armenia.
