Ex-President of Ukraine suspected in creating an organized criminal group

The State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine suspected Yanukovych in creating an organized criminal group, reports pravda.com.ua.

On Friday, on November 5, the investigator of the State Bureau of Investigation announced suspicion of the ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, as the head of an organized criminal group.

According to the investigation, the group included former officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the SBU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All of them are suspected of committing serious and especially grave criminal offenses during mass protests, which took place in the center of Kiev from 18 to 20 February 2014.

It is noted that due to the actions of an organized group only in the specified period, 76 citizens were killed and more than 800 were injured varying severity.
