Former President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan is a citizen of Great Britain, as well as an honorary citizen of Kazakhstan, and that is why he retired. With such an unexpected statement, the former Prime Minister of Armenia Grant Bagratyan spoke.
According to the Armenian Ex-Prime Minister, Sargsyan provided large services to the Nazarbayev family, made serious investments in the Mining Industry of Kazakhstan. Before Armen Sargsyan, Bagratyan believes, there was a question about the preservation of assets in Kazakhstan. “It’s probably afraid that he was arrested, even being as president. The best solution was to escape to London,” says Bagratyan, who is quoted by Armenian media.
