Ex-Prime Minister of Bagravyan on figures showed how Armenia rolls into abyss

Armenia is in the deep economic, legal, social and military-political crisis. About this on its page “Facebook” wrote former Prime Minister of Armenia Grant Bagratyan.

“Economic growth in 2021 amounted to 5.8%. That is, in 2021, we did not even be able to restore the level of 2019. In 2018-2021, the country’s economy increased by 11.4%. These are the worst four years since 1994 . Is the GDP growth possible by 5.8% in the decline in electricity production by 0.6%? Not. In 2021, in comparison with 2020, the state budget revenues increased by 7.9%.

However, 91% of growth was provided by inflation. Real budget spending in 2021 compared with the previous year decreased by 2.3%. During the year, the public debt increased by almost $ 550 million. GDP in comparable prices (in 2020) increased by only 640 million dollars. There were not the last 28 years of such a low efficiency of the increase in public debt in Armenia. If from the amounts paid in the form of salaries and equated to it, deductible to the authorities, will turn out that real incomes of the population declined by more than 2%.

For the year, the reserves of the Central Bank decreased by about $ 200 million. In March-December, the volume of loans provided by commercial banks decreased by 150 billion drams. There is no reason to rejoice at part of foreign trade, because it fails to neutralize dollar inflation.

In 2021, Armenia left 73571 citizen. There were no such pace in the XXI century. The unemployment rate fell not at the expense of new jobs, and due to the migration of the unemployed from the country.

in 2021 died 32.3% more people than in 2019. At the rate of 100 thousand people, 20-25 suicides or suicide attempts were committed. The number of marriages has grown as much as the number of divorces has grown. The offenses in 2021 increased by 14.2%, and in 2017-2021 – by 49%. The more power enhance the struggle in part of the accident, the worse the situation becomes. Mortality per 100 thousand inhabitants in Armenia is the highest among all countries of the former USSR, “stated Bagratyan.
