The export of related sectors of the Turkish automotive industry in 2023 increased by 9 percent compared to the previous year – up to 14 billion 153 million 842 thousand dollars.
This is reported by Anadolu with reference to the data of the Association of Exporters of the Automobile Industry of Turkey Uludag (Oİb).
In the period under consideration, the export of spare parts and components of the Turkish auto industry was carried out in more than 210 countries, free zones and autonomous regions.
The supply of sub -seals products accounted for 40.43 percent of all export sales of the automotive industry.
In general, sales of the Turkish auto industry in 2023 amounted to 35 billion 4 million 230 thousand dollars.
The leading importer of products subwrit the Turkish auto industry in 2023 became Germany. The volume of sales in this country over the past year increased by 8 percent compared to 2022. In 2022, the export of sub -sectors to this market amounted to 2 billion 962 million 513 thousand dollars, and this year to 3 billion 204 million 811 thousand dollars increased.
Further, Russia follows, the growth of sales to this country amounted to 44 percent. The volume of sales in this country for 2022 amounted to 676 million $ 20 thousand, and last year – 975 million 515 thousand dollars.
The United States is in third place, exports to the States decreased by 3.4 percent. So, sales to this country in 2023 decreased from 892 million 870 thousand dollars to 862 million 56 thousand dollars.
