The export of the Turkish auto industry for six months of the current year exceeded $ 17 billion, which is 13.7 percent more than January-June 2022. This is evidenced by the data of the Union of Exporters of the Automobile Industry Uludag (Oİb).
Exports of cars for the specified period increased by 12 percent, to $ 984 million, trucks – by 10 percent, up to $ 419 million, buses and minibuses – by 45 percent, up to $ 205 million.
Directly in June, the supply of products of the Turkish auto industry abroad increased by 9 percent compared to the same month of last year – up to $ 3 billion.
The main importer of the Turkish auto industry in June became France – $ 400 million. Next comes Germany – 388 million and Great Britain – $ 284 million.
