Export of the Turkish Auto -Locomotive of the Turkish Economy – to the countries of the European Union (EU) in six months of 2023, 20 percent increased compared to the same period last year to 11 billion 988 million $ 673 thousand.
Such data are given by Anadolu with reference to the data of the Association of Exporters of the Automobile Industry of Turkey Uludag (Oİb) and the Assembly of Exporters of Turkey (TIM).
In general, the export of products of the Turkish auto industry in January-June 2023 increased by 14 percent compared to the same period of 2022- up to 17 billion 337 million 288 thousand dollars.
The sector in the first half of 2023 sold its products in more than 190 countries, autonomous and free zones.
The leading importers of the products of the Turkish auto industry for 6 months of 2023 became EU countries with a share of 69.2 percent. The volume of sales in these countries increased by 20 percent compared to the same period last year – up to 11 billion 988 million 673 thousand dollars.
Germany, the main market of the automotive industry, attracted attention as a country with the highest export indicator. The growth amounted to 10 percent compared to the indicator of the same period last year.
