Exports of spare parts and components manufactured at the enterprises of the Turkish auto industry, in the first half of 2023 amounted to 7 billion 172 million 556 thousand dollars. This is evidenced by the data of the Union of Exporters of the Automobile Industry of the Economic District “Uludag”.
In January-June, Turkey exported spare parts and components of auto products in more than 200 countries and free zones.
In general, in the first six months, the exports of the Turkish auto industry amounted to 17 billion 336 million 757 thousand dollars, of which 41.4 percent falls on the share of components.
In January-June of 2022, the export of components amounted to 6 billion 488 million $ 673 thousand, this year it increased by 10.54 percent to 7 billion 172 million 556 thousand dollars.
Germany became the main importer in the reporting period. Export to this country amounted to 1 billion 691 million 823 thousand dollars, which is 10 percent more than last year.
Italy took the second place among the importing countries – 472 million 421 thousand dollars, which is 13 percent more than 2022.
Russia closes the top three importers, export to this country increased by 93 percent to 453 million 40 thousand dollars.
