Fahrettin Altun: “Agreements with Ukraine are not directed against Russia”

The existing and future agreements between Turkey and Ukraine are not directed against Russia and are not related to the crisis between Moscow and Kiev. This was stated by the head of the Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey, Fahrettin Altun in an interview with Bloomberg on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Ukraine.

According to him, Turkey’s relations with Russia are not limited to the supply of C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, also with Ukraine from the sale of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

“Turkey strengthens good neighborly relations with both countries in all areas, especially in the economic and social. This process will continue in the coming period. We do not implement the agreement that would be aimed against another country. Russia is one of the countries that It knows best. The agreements that we concluded and will conclude with Ukraine, do not have a direct attitude towards the crisis between Russia and Ukraine, “the Altun Tass quotes.
