Kintana also emphasized the importance of promoting efforts in this direction from the new Syrian authorities. The head of the commission said that she contacted representatives of the Syria government regarding the opening of the office in Damascus in the near future. She noted the positive attitude of the Syrian administration on this issue.

“We are optimistic that this can be implemented in the near future. The solution of this issue is necessary so that we can interact with the Syrian side in the process of finding the missing,” she said.

According to her, a number of advanced technologies are involved in search work, including artificial intelligence.
