Female Forum Of Organization For Economic Cooperation Started In Lachen

In the city of Lachyn in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan on Wednesday, July 2, the Women’s Forum of the Organization of Economic Cooperation (SEC) was launched.

The event was first organized as part of the “Week of Economic Cooperation (SEC) Week” on the initiative of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the Azerbaijani State Media, the main goal of the forum is to promote intersectoral cooperation in the countries of the SEC to expand the capabilities of women in all areas of human development, as well as to identify and strengthen the role of women in the formation of sustainable, inclusive and stable societies in the entire region of the OEC.

The forum will discuss the role of women in the development of mankind to ensure the stability of the climate, expand the opportunities for girls and women through education, digital inclusiveness: innovation and exchange of experience, as well as other topics.

The forum will also serve as a platform for dialogue, cooperation and exchange of experience between women leaders from different countries of the OEC region and relevant international partnerships.
