Festival “Cultural Path of Turkey” starts in April

Festival “Cultural Path of Turkey”, the purpose of which is to popularize the tourism potential of Turkey, will be held this year from April to November.

The organizer of the festival is the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersa, speaking at a press conference in the Ataturka cultural center, said that this year the festival will be held in 16 cities and 7 regions of Turkey.

Ersa noted that this year 40 thousand artists will take part in festivals. In 600 rooms, 6 thousand cultural events will be organized, the minister added.

According to the minister, the festival this year will begin in Adan. From April 13 to April 21, the Carnival of Orange flowers will be held in Adan.

Cultural events will continue to continue in Shanlyurf (May 25, June 2), Bursa (June 1-9), Samsun (June 8-16), Trabzone (June 22-30), Vana (June 29-July 7), Nevchekhira (August 3-11), Erzurum (August 17-25), Chanakkale (August 31-September 8), Gaziantep (September 14-22).

From September 21 to 29, the festival will be held in Ankara, and from September 28 to October 6 – in Istanbul.

Further events will be organized from October 12 to 20 in Dyayarbakyr, from October 26 to November 3 in the Izmir.

The last stage of the cultural festival will be held from November 2 to 10 in Antalya.

Note, the Festival “Cultural Path of Turkey” has become a member of the European Association of Festivals (EFA), uniting festivals of cultures and art in Europe.

EFA – an organization uniting about 100 festivals in 40 countries and supporting art festivals.
