Today, a youth sports festival dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria was held in the Baku Sports Palace.
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Mariana Vasilev, Ambassador of Bulgaria to Azerbaijan Nikolai Yankov, representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Ruslan Rzaev, head of the inter -parliamentary working group Azerbaijan – Bulgaria Rauf Aliyev.
After the opening ceremony, sports competitions began. Young athletes of the two strangers competed in the struggle, sports acrobatics, Break Dance and Capoeira.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were established on June 5, 1992.
