Azerbaijani schoolchildren once again achieved success at an international knowledge competition. So, a student of the 10th grade of the Lyceum Ganja School with a physico-mathematical bias, located under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education, Fidan Huseynova won a silver medal at the 13th International Autumn Informatics Tournament, held in the online format in the Bulgarian city of Shumen.
The Olympiad, held from November 24 to November 29, joined 168 students of the younger age group of schools from 15 countries.
In the victory of Azerbaijani schoolgirl, there is a great merit of Azercell Telecom LLC, which always supports projects aimed at developing education in Azerbaijan. Thus, since 2017, the process of preparing national teams to participate in international computer science competitions under the contract signed between the Institute of Education of Azerbaijan and Azercell Telecom LLC was carried out.
