Fidan: Türkiye expects official recognition of RSC to terrorist organization from Iraq

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that Turkey, in the framework of friendship and fraternity between the two peoples, expects the official recognition of the RSC with a terrorist organization.

Minister Fidan spoke at a joint press conference organized after his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Iraq Fuad Hussein in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad.

Having stated that during a meeting with the Iraqi colleague they discussed very extensive issues, Fidan noted that one of them is the fight against terrorism.

Stressing that they cannot remain indifferent to the call of the sovereignty of Iraq from the terrorist organization of the RSC, Minister Fidan said: “We should not allow the RPK terrorist organization, which is our common enemy (with Iraq), to poison our bilateral relations.”

Paying that the RSC occupied Sinjar, Mahmur, Kandil and Suleimania, as well as many Iraqi villages, the Turkish minister noted that the terrorist organization seeks to unite two regions with the help of the corridor of terror, which it created by ignoring the boundaries between Syria and Iraq .

Stressing that Turkey is ready to cooperate with Iraq in the fight against terrorism, Hakan Fidan added:

“We at all levels support the struggle of our Iraqi brothers and sisters against the terrorist organization of the RSC, which is an instrument of imperial powers. We also expect that they (Iraq) officially recognize the Red Army as a terrorist organization. We are ready to work with Iraq in the fight against the fight against All terrorist organizations, regardless of their name, whether it is the RKK or Daesh, which are aimed at the territorial integrity and political unity of Iraq. They commit crimes against humanity, violate stability and impede the prosperity of Iraq. “
