Fidan spoke at the opening of the Chernogorsk-Turkish Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro, where he went to participate in the summit of the process of cooperation in southeastern Europe (SEECP).
Having emphasized that Turkey has historical, humanitarian, political and cultural ties with Montenegro, Fidan said that these strong relations are deepened in the field of economics.
“The total investment in the country’s economy has reached 344 million euros. We take first place in Montenegro in terms of foreign direct investment. With the expansion of the scope of the agreement on free trade, the volume of our bilateral trade last year exceeded $ 200 million. We expect to leave For our target volume of $ 250 million by the end of this year. And this figure will grow, ”added the Foreign Ministry of Turkey.
– Pegasus from July 19 will begin flights to Montenegro
He noted that Turkish Airlines (Thy), which increased the number of flights per week from 14 to 17, transports more than 100 thousand tourists from different countries to Montenegro. Fidan said that Pegasus Airlines will also start flying to this country from July 19.
Hakan Fidan emphasized that the activation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro will strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations between Turkey and Montenegro, and wished, success in the work of this organization.
