In Turkmenistan, the educational and methodological center of the International Football Federation (FIFA) will be created.
This was reported by the Official newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan, following the results of the president of Turkmenistan, Merdar Berdimuhamedov with President FIFA Dzhanny Infantino, held on the eve of the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan.
The center will be created in the city of Arkadag under construction. He, as planned, will contribute to the popularization of football in the country, the further development of fruitful cooperation with FIFA and other interested partners.
Infantino discussed with the Turkmen leader the issues of football development in the country. Berdymuhamedov noted that the republic attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with FIFA and combining efforts at the international level for the widespread spread of football.
Infantino, in turn, highly appreciated the large-scale work on the popularization of the mass physical education and recreational movement and sports of the highest achievements, which is held in Turkmenistan.
