Finland launched a cargo route from China through Azerbaijan

The Finnish large cargo operator Nurminen Logistics announced the launch of the first container route from China, which is laid bypassing Russia, Gazeta.ru reports with reference to the company’s press service.

It is noted that the first train on the Trans -Caspian route from China went today, May 10. Its route passes through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other countries.

The company emphasized that the route was built for two years, almost from scratch. Significant efforts were made by Kazakhstan and other interested states.

According to the general director of Nurminen Logistics, Olli Pokhyanvirt, “the opening of the route required confidence in their cooperation and trust of the company’s customers”.
