Finland needs approval of Turkey

Finland hopes that Turkey will agree to approve the country’s application to join NATO in the near future. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin, writes Anadolu.

by this statement, she answered the question of journalists about the results of negotiations with Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which took place on Thursday.

According to Sanna Marin, the main topic of negotiations was Finland’s entry into NATO. “We have always been decisive when it came to Turkey. We were negotiating before the NATO Madrid summit. Now we are fulfilling the agreements reached at the summit in Madrid. I hope that Turkey will approve our membership in NATO as soon as possible,” she said.

The leader of Finland is sure that the entry of Sweden and Finland in NATO is at the same time very important, because this is the security issue of the North of Europe.
