Finland is ready to take part in one way or another in a package decision on the supply of Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pekka Haavisto at a press conference in Riga, the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat reports.
Answering the question of participating in the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, he said: “We also have“ leopards ”in Finland, and we believe that if there is a common package, now, I hope, Germany will become part of this package – We are ready to participate in one way or another. “
He noted that, for example, sending “Leopards” will mean the need to teach tankers.
According to Haavisto, “Finland will consider the best way to participate when the package solution is ready.”
