Finnish general harshly answered Russian claims of country’s entry into NATO

Finnish General Hamis Stavridis reacted to the threats of Russia to join the country in NATO. The military expressed his opinion on Twitter.

“We invite you to join 200 thousand Russians who are already buried in the ground in Finland at a depth of several meters after your last attempt in 1939,” the general wrote.

So Stavridis answered the publication of Bloomberg “What Ukraine can learn from Finland”, where journalists recalled the historical defeat of Russians while trying to occupy Finland before the Second World War.

On April 15, Finland President Sauli Ninisto announced the official submission of an application for membership in NATO.
