Fire occurred in Armenian church in Istanbul: there are dead

The fire occurred in the Armenian Church “Surb Prkich” (Holy Savior) in the Istanbul quarter Karakia, reports Haber Türk.

As a result of the fire, two people were killed, two more were hospitalized.

The head of the district Baioglu Mustafa Demiryaally and the spiritual head of the Armenian Catholic community of Turkey, Levon Zekiyan, visited the territory and got acquainted with the situation.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
