First batch of Russian Vaccine “Satellite V” arrived in Turkey

The first batch of Russian vaccine “Satellite V” arrived in Turkey. This is reported on the website of the Gunboyu newspaper.

According to the publication, on June 14, the aircraft from the first Russian vaccine from coronavirus infection landed at the Esenbog International Airport in Ankara. In Turkey, noted that the Russian drug will help to speed up vaccination in the country.

Earlier in May, the Turkish Ministry of Health approved the Russian vaccine from the coronavirus “satellite V” for emergency use. This was announced by the Russian Foundation for direct investment (RDII). The organization noted that the use of the drug with Turkish side “will allow you to save many lives, to prevent the spread of the virus and form a long-term immunity of the population.”

On April 28, Russian Health Minister Fahrettin Koja said that the republic will purchase 50 million doses of the Russian vaccine from coronavirus.
