The first export of the armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Bayractar TB-3 of the Turkish defense industry will be carried out to Indonesia.
During the visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Indonesia, Baykar General Director Haluk Bayractar and founder of Republikorp Norman Joseph signed an agreement on the export of Bayraktar TB-3 and Bayractar Akyndi.
According to the information received, under the agreement, 60 Bayractar TB-3 and 9 Bayractar Akyndzhi will be exported to Indonesia.
Thus, the first export of Bayractar TB-3 will be carried out to Indonesia.
Thanks to the folding wing structure, Bayractar TB-3 is able to take off and sit down with ships with a short runway.
Bayraktar TB3 has important innovations compared to unmanned aerial vehicles of its class. The national UAV, which has the possibility of communication outside of direct visibility, can be controlled from very long distances. Thus, he has a multiplier effect on the restraining power of his user, performing intelligence, observation, intelligence and attack tasks using intellectual ammunition, which he carries on board against foreign purposes.
Bayraktar Akyndi, which has a significant restraining force on the battlefield due to the higher flight height, high endurance and wide range of useful load options, also helps humanitarian aid teams in situations, earthquakes and search and rescue operations.
